Sculpting with Light and Form
These small-scale studio experiments of fused and slumped glass aim to explore and expose forms which are unique to the malleability and color aspects of glass, whether opaque or translucent. Each work pursues symbolic forms with a unique resonance. The exploration of cosmology as metaphor for our infinitely expanding perception of the world is the driving force of this work. Kiln formed glass is a challenging innovative tool, particularly malleable, accreting and alluding to creation processes which may have formed our planet.
